Jacksonville natives with a love for the land, Woody and Melody invite you to their 130-acre haven in serene Appling County, Georgia — where every pecan tree is nurtured through patient, hands-on work.
How it began
From hunting land to a family orchard
It started with hunting land. Woody and his father bought acreage in Appling County and planted a small orchard — about sixty pecan trees — simply for the family to have and enjoy.
The trees thrived, and that early success planted a bigger idea. In 2013, Woody and Melody planted their first commercial orchard, irrigating and babying the young trees until they bore their very first crop three years later.
Today that humble beginning has grown into 130 acres of producing pecans — a working family farm built season by season, and a standing invitation to taste Georgia's finest.
A point of pride
“We took wet pine land and turned it into productive pecan ground — banking the dirt and building healthy soil, season after season. Even the experts have been impressed with the progress.”
