What we collect

When you place an order

To ship you pecans we need your name, email address, phone number, and shipping address. You enter these on a secure checkout page hosted by Stripe, our payment processor.

We never see or store your card details. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches this website. What we receive back is confirmation that you paid, plus the delivery details we need to send your order.

When you contact us

Our contact and inquiry forms collect your name, email address, and whatever you write to us. We use that to reply, and we keep the correspondence so we have a record of what was agreed — particularly for in-shell orders arranged by request.

What we don't do

We don't run advertising trackers, we don't build profiles on you, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone. There's no marketing email list unless you ask us to add you to one.

Who else handles your information

Running an online shop means a few specialist companies process data on our behalf. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job:

• Stripe — takes payment and handles your card details. Stripe is responsible for securing that information.
• Netlify — hosts this website and delivers its pages, and receives contact form submissions.
• Sanity — stores the site's own content (product descriptions, photos, journal posts). It holds no customer information.
• Resend — sends your order confirmation email.

We don't give your details to anyone beyond what's needed to fulfil your order and run the farm, unless the law requires it.

Cookies

This site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. Your shopping cart is kept in your own browser's storage so it survives moving between pages — it stays on your device and isn't sent to us until you check out. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page to process payment and prevent fraud.

How long we keep things

We keep order records for as long as we need them to run the business and meet our tax and accounting obligations. Correspondence is kept while it's useful for serving you.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it. Email info@hollandpecanfarm.com and we'll respond as quickly as we can.

Children

This shop is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
