Shipping & Returns

Everything we send is food we grew, so freshness and honest handling matter more to us than fine print. Here's how it works.

Where we ship

We ship anywhere in the United States. We aren't set up for international orders yet — if you're outside the US and want pecans, please get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

What shipping costs

Shipping is a flat $10 per order, and it's free on orders over $99. The cost is calculated for you at checkout before you pay — there are no charges added later.

When your order ships

Orders are packed on the farm, not in a warehouse, so they go out as quickly as we can get to them. You'll get an email confirming your order as soon as it's placed. You will receive a second email from Pirate Ship when your order actually ships, with a link to track your package.

During the harvest and holiday season (roughly November through December) we're packing a lot of boxes, and orders may take a little longer than usual. We'd rather send your pecans a day later than send them badly packed.

Local pickup

You're welcome to collect your order in person, with no shipping charge. Choose local pickup in your cart and pay online at checkout as usual. We have two pickup locations:

  • Holland Pecan Farm — 479 Cecil Tyre Rd., Bristol, GA 31518
  • Jacksonville Location — 900 Cesery Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32211

Once your order is placed, we'll contact you when it's ready to collect. Please wait to hear from us before you set off, so we can make sure someone is there. Questions in the meantime? Contact us or call (904) 866-7873.

If something arrives wrong

Tell us. Pecans are a food product, so we can't take back an order simply because you changed your mind — but if your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or not in the condition you'd expect, that's on us and we'll put it right.

Please reach out with your order number and, if you can, a photo of the problem. A photo of a damaged box helps us to take it up with the carrier and means we can problem solve more quickly.

Storing your pecans

Pecans keep best cool. In an airtight container they'll hold in the refrigerator for several months and in the freezer for considerably longer. Kept in a warm cupboard they'll lose their flavor much sooner — so if you've bought in bulk, freeze what you aren't using now.

In-shell orders

In-shell pecans are sold by request rather than through the cart, because quantity and availability change through the season. Send us an inquiry and we'll confirm price and delivery with you directly before anything is charged.
